Bag Types
Handling of the Widest Variety of Bag Types
The packing machines constructed by STATEC BINDER are universal machines for almost all open bags available on the market. The following types of bag can be used on these without much adjustment being necessary.

Paper Bags
PE Bags
PP Weave Bags
Jute
Laminated Variants
Bags with Inner Bags
Switching over to other bag formats or other bag types requires just a few movements.

Padded Bag (Flat Bag)
Padded bags and also flat bags are the simplest variant of the ready-made bag. These can be made of paper, PE, PP weave or jute and are among the open bags. For fully-automatic filling, this type of bag requires a bag magazine from which it is automatically removed.

Gusset Bags
In the case of gusset bags, the edges of the bag are folded in. The fold thus produced can unfold during filling and thus forms a rectangular shaped block, which is perfect for palleting. Gusset bags are also among the ready-made bags. These can be manufactured from paper, PE or PP weave and are open bags. For fully-automatic filling, this type of bag requires a bag magazine from which it is automatically removed.

Flat Film Bags
Flat film bags are produced by so-called vertical FFS machines . Flat films of thermoplastic or composite material are pulled over a shaping collar, welded and filled at the same time. The bags can be produced with or without gussets. This type of bag is one of the (vertical) FFS bags and is processed from a flat film roll.

Tube Roll Bags
Tube roll bags are produced by FFS machines. Tube roll bags made of thermoplastic or composite materials are pulled off the sheet roll, heat-sealed together at the bag bottom and filled at the same time. The bags can be produced with or without side gussets. This type of bag is one of the FSS bags and is processed from a roll of tube sheeting.

Changes to the Bags for Automatic Processing
- It must be easy to open the bags.
- The bag material is to be chosen so that the bags do not stick
(e.g. from strong electrostatic charge). - The bags must be prevented from sticking together due to pressure or
other adhesives. - Contamination of the bags during storage is to be avoided.
- Strong creasing and folds on either the outer or inner bag are not allowed.
